All Undergraduate students can participate in a 2-week immersion at world-leading colleges and institutes in mental health throughout the program.
International immersions are integrated into the Undergraduate curriculum and are optional. Destinations, institutions, and activities are defined and confirmed for each cycle, and may vary according to availability and academic calendars.
Seeing psychology from a new perspective changes everything.
APSY students travel to the United States to gain firsthand experience in clinical psychology practice within one of the world’s most advanced contexts. The immersion program includes visits to leading clinics, hospitals, research centers, and universities—offering academic activities that connect students directly with another culture, healthcare system, and approach to care.
An experience that not only expands their clinical expertise, but reshapes how students view their own professional training.
The immersion program takes place during the third semester for the entire class, spanning 10 to 15 days integrated into the curriculum.
Second International Immersion
The world of psychology is far larger than any map.
The second immersion can take place either in the United States or in Europe—the destination is selected for each cohort based on the best academic opportunities available. In every location, students visit premier clinical and academic institutions, engage in activities at research centers, and interact with traditions and approaches that profoundly expand their worldview and clinical practice.
In the sixth semester, with greater maturity and clinical experience, this immersion becomes a defining milestone in their training—10 to 15 days that reshape a career trajectory.
