Henrique Leão Kiperman
In 1973, Henrique Leão Kiperman planted the seed of what would eventually become +A Educação. He started as a door-to-door salesman, became a bookseller, and eventually became a publisher.
His publishing house, then known as Artes Médicas — later Artmed — became a reference in Brazil and abroad for publishing the finest knowledge in the healthcare field.
The publishing house evolved and expanded into other areas, giving rise to +A Educação, Brazil’s largest EdTech company. Within this ecosystem, Artmed remains the brand dedicated to mental health.
